Diane Kay Petersen

Diane Kay Petersen, 68, of Perrysburg, died Monday late afternoon, August 8, 2016, at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. Diane was born July 28, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, to Edward and Thelma (Hagemeyer) Neff. On August 15, 1968, in Fremont, Ohio, she married Daniel L. Petersen and he survives. Diane was a homemaker, who enjoyed crochet, photography and travel. She was an amazing cook. She loved animals but most of all loved her grandkids and family. Surviving Diane are her husband of 48 years, Daniel, her children, Doris (John) Kirk of Port Clinton, Debra (Terry Martin) Petersen of Moline, Angie Sediqe of Point Place and Jessica (Frank) Sadowski of Oregon; grandchildren, Emilee Kirk, Caleb Kirk, Trevor Petersen, Sam and Erika Hartford, Shane, Cody, Amber, Breanna and Chase Sadowki; and siblings, Jerry (Sharon) Neff and Doris Greer, both of Genoa. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Daniel L. Petersen, Jr., and siblings, Sylvia Runion, Edward Neff, Jr., Evonne Shackelford, Walter Junior Neff and Kathleen Caswell. Private services for Diane will be held at a later date. The family has suggested memorials for Diane to go to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
