Debra Jill Baxter

Debra Jill Baxter - Burns age 71, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday December 1st, 2020. She was a graduate of Swanton High School and attended Kent State as a sociology major. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Maumee and worked part time at the antique mall. She was preceeded in death by her parents Earl and Phyllis Burns. Debra is survived by her three children, Tamara (Paul) Hausner, Keri (PJ) Robertson and Kevin (Katia) Baxter; sister, Judy Maurer and brother Ric(Carol) Burns. She was also blessed by four grandchildren, Nicholas, 24, Jacob 22, Baxter, 16 and Samuel, 9 and several nieces and nephews. Debbie was an accomplished cook, loved "junkin" with family and friends and loved her Ohio State Buckeyes! She spent many years as a realtor and later a sales rep while living in Tulsa Oklahoma, before returning to Ohio to retire. My siblings and I feel very blessed that Father God chose her to be our mama. The family will hold a celebration of life service in the spring.
