Deborah Morgan

Deborah “Starbie” Kay Morgan, age 59 years old, joined the stars, on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Debbie worked for Lowes as a cashier for many years before her retirement. She formerly lived in Ashtabula, Florida, with her significant other, Bill Letson, where they both enjoyed making new friends, going on boat rides, and sitting on the porch to watch the beautiful Florida sunsets. Another favorite pastime of Debbie’s was watching SYFY movies and spending time on the computer. There’s no doubting, Debbie had a great love for astronomy, especially from Ancient Greeks to Modern Times; and yes, she believed that Atlantis existed!

Most of all, Debbie was a passionate mother. She loved her sons endlessly and was very proud of the men they’ve grown to be. Her sons recalled a memory of their mom playing basketball and how she would usually win. Debbie always told them, “I love you and don’t you forget it!” Debbie also loved her fur baby Chihuahuas and Rat Terrier, Little Bit.

Deborah K. Morgan was born on October 2, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Melvin L. and Joanne A. (Baightel) Morgan.

Left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Scott Toda, Jr., Bill Toda, and Kyle Johnson; her sisters, Denise (Mike) Smith, and Janet Morgan; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She also leaves behind the love of her life and significant other, Bill Letson. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Don Morgan, and Ed Morgan.

In honor of Deborah’s wishes, a private memorial will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Weston Cemetery, in Weston, Ohio. Walker Funeral Homes have been entrusted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to offset funeral expenses.
