Clyde V. Vinny Crum, Jr., 71, of Port Clinton died early Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Stein Hospice In-Patient Unit, Sandusky. He was born on February 3, 1944 in Greeneville, TN to Clyde V. and Glenna (McNew) Crum, Sr. On February 19, 1966 in Port Clinton he married Bonnie Marek and she survives. Clyde worked for Ford Motor Co. in Sandusky for 35 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of U.A.W. Local # 1216 and the NOMAD Car Club. Clyde enjoyed cars and drag racing. He was a wonderful loving husband and father who will be greatly missed. In addition to his loving wife, Bonnie, of 49 years, Clyde is survived by his sons: Todd, Troy, and Travis (Sarah Nation) Crum all of Oak Harbor and 7 grandchildren: Ashley, Garrett, Tori, Sam, Madison, Kadence, and Max Crum. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father: Gilbert Finken. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, where the funeral service will conducted by Pastor Bill Blue at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015. The family encourages anyone to drive their street/hot rod car along in the procession to the cemetery. Interment will follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions for Clyde be given to Stein Hospice, Sandusky.
