Claude Richard Havens

Claude Richard Havens, 50, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. He was born on June 14, 1959 in Port Clinton, OH, the son of Claude E. and Bethel Sparks Havens. Claude worked as a laborer for Ballards Construction Co. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Port Clinton, OH. Claude served in the Ohio National Guard from June 1979 until October 1979. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Father: Claude E. Havens of Port Clinton, OH; Brothers: Dexter Havens of Port Clinton, OH and Walter Havens of Germany; Half-Brothers: Chris Palmer and David Palmer: Sisters: Cynthia Harris and Wendy Havens; and many loving nieces and nephews. Claude was preceded in death by his mother: Bethel Havens and brother: Luther Havens. Visitation will be from 6-8PM, Sunday, May 23, 2010 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Alfred Havens at 11:00AM, Monday, May 24, 2010 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Limestone Cemetery, Rocky Ridge, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Claude may be given to the family.
